My name is Evelyn Jordan, and I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I now reside in Miami, Florida. I have been wearing weave for 30 years! I have a grade school picture where I have long pigtails from my mama adding in hair. My weave experiences have only increased since then.
While I love sew-ins, they are very tedious. In addition to the hours it takes to braid the hair, sew the hair in, and style it, maintenance is an additional headache. There have been many times that I would have a sew-in, and about a month in, I would have one track that would unravel. So I would be stuck with finding the nearest Bobby pin and tucking it inside a braid in order to get home to sew it back in. I knew there had to be a better way to shorten the time somewhere in the process.
The idea for this product came to me after sitting at my stylist for 4 hours. Yes, we were talking and laughing the entire time, but her taking forever to do my hair due to the process was ridiculous. Later that night, I dreamt of this product. I woke up and made it a reality.
